First W Hotel is scheduled to open in Neom, Saudi Arabia, on the country’s snow-capped Trojena

The hotel will contain 236 guest rooms with lake and mountain views.
In Trojena, the region of Neom’s snow-capped mountains that will house the very first outdoors ski resort in the Gulf, the first W Resort in Saudi Arabia is scheduled to open.

The megacity announced on Monday that it has reached a contract with Marriott International in order to launch a W Hotel and a JW Marriott property in Trojena.

The W Hotel will be situated in Lake Village, but a place that features marketplaces, dining options, and entertainment venues along with a 2.8-kilometer-long artificial lake and a forest. The hotel will contain 236 accommodation units, including 47 suites, with views of the lake and the mountains.

The JW Marriott Resort in Trojena will be located in The Bow, that is referred to be a “futuristic aqua world” or a building submerged in a lake in a statement. 500 guestrooms and accommodations, five dining options, a fitness center, a kids’ club, a spa, and swimming pools are all included in the price of the premium hotel.

Trojena is a neighborhood of the 500 billion dollar large towns Neom in Tabuk, northwest Saudi Arabia, which is situated in the country’s tallest mountain range. It will host the Asian Winter Games in 2029 and is being planned as a year-round outdoor recreation destination with activities like skiing, water sports, hiking, and mountain biking.

Neom, a 26,000 square kilometer development first unveiled by the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the year 2017, will eventually include smart cities, trade ports, research facilities, sports and entertainment venues, opulent resorts, and tourist attractions.

Other hotel chains like A Minor Hotels, Four Seasons Hotel Ennismore, Collective Retreats, and GHM Hotels have already made plans to launch hotels in Neom.
Chadi Hauch, regional vice president of hotel development for Marriott International in the Middle East, stated, “We are pleased to work with Neom to create both of these exciting buildings in one of the most eagerly awaited developments in the world.

With its focus on innovation, creativity, design, and exploration, Neom is a perfect fit for W Hotels as it keeps redefining the luxury hospitality industry. JW Marriott, another one of our the flagship brands, will contribute its long history of exceptional service, thoughtful design, and enriching experiences.

“The JW Marriott will be crucial in establishing Trojena as a class-leading location for major international meetings and displays, as well as high-profile events,” said Chris Newman, the managing director of Neom Hotel Development. “While W Hotels will transform how visitors to our mountains destination enjoy entertainment, culture, and culinary experiences.”
